Houston Seafood is a direct importer of seafood from around the world. Although we are based in Houston, Texas we also have branch offices in China and Hong Kong. Our extensive experience in quality control and dedicated QA team allows us to maintain strong relationships with the largest packers and processors around the world.
We have two warehousing and distribution facilities, both with freezer, fresh storage, and processing capabilities. Our fully-refrigerated facilities have more than 10 different temperature zones to ensure fully-integrated product receiving, storage, processing, and shipping. We are strategically located to optimally serve our entire customer base.
These facilities are supported by key global partnerships with producers in Asia, the Americas, and Europe. We have more than 75 employees as well as own and operate our own fleet with trucks of various sizes.

We use the major sustainability rating systems to qualify our seafood, including MSC, ASC, BAP and Seafood Watch. We work with our supply partners around the world to ensure that they are using eco-friendly farming and fishing practices as well as helping to better society for their employees and surrounding community. BAP is the world’s most trusted, comprehensive and proven third-party aquaculture certification program. They’ve been improving the environmental, social and economic performance of the aquaculture supply chain and growing the global supply of responsibly farmed seafood since 2002.
The Marine Stewardship Council is an internationalnon-profit organization. Their mission is to use their ecolabel and fisherycertification program to contribute to the health of the world’s oceans byrecognizing and rewarding sustainable fishing practices, influencing thechoices people make when buying seafood and working with their partners totransform the seafood market to a sustainable basis.
